FADE IN:
INT – INSIDE A THEATER WASHINGTON, D.C. NIGHT
CAPTION: JANUARY 2006, WASHINGTON, D.C.

PEOPLE are watching a play, Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The
lighting is low with the light coming somewhere from the
side, slightly towards the back. The VOICES of the ACTORS
can be heard in the background.

FIRST CLOWN ACTOR (o.s.)
(from distance)
…argal, he that is not guilty of
his own death shortens not his own
life.

MIKE GREENBAUM, an early 40s looking slightly slim, youthful
but serious looking professional, and his date, ALICE, a
younger attractive, thin, blond, are there.

SECOND CLOWN ACTOR (o.s.)
(from distance)
But is this law?

MIKE and ALICE both are dressed in professional attire,
MIKE’S clothes looking more disheveled, hers with a lot more
care plus sense of wanting to look nice for the date.

FIRST CLOWN ACTOR (o.s.)
(from distance)
Ay, marry, is’t; crowner’s quest
law.

MIKE starts looking more and more disoriented. He turns to
ALICE and whispers.

MIKE
Do you have any candy?

ALICE looks a mixture of annoyed and concerned and whispers
back.

ALICE
You forgot again?
(She searches her clothes and bag.)
I’ve got gum.

MIKE
Sugarless?

ALICE
Yeah…I’m sorry.

MIKE
You don’t need to diet.

ALICE
(smiling shyly)
Can you make it to the snack bar
without passing out of insulin
shock?

FIRST CLOWN ACTOR (o.s.)
(from distance)
…and the more pity that great
folk should have countenance in
this world to drown or hang
themselves..

Mike quickly gets up and moves uncomfortably through the
aisle, saying “excuse me” several times to people as he
brushes by them.flag-over-capitol-story

DNC Chairman

To my friends and all lovers of politics and humanity: To hate politics is to hate humanity, ordinary everyday people, their empowerment as total equals with no one above or below. To hate government is to hate government of, by and for ordinary, everyday people, in short, it is to hate humanity and care only about oneself. I have always been a lover of equality, with the passion of Thomas Jefferson and the courage of George Washington running through my veins. I created out of myself and Bradley Whitford’s West Wing character, Josh Lyman, the character of Mike Greenbaum, the fictitious chairman of the Democratic National Committee and a man whose passions ran for and with all people, as he challenged the laziness, greed and status quo of political power as well as his own brittle diabetes and the effect it had on his relationship with the woman he loved. I have so much wanted to see this story come to life on the screen and now I am going to serialize it scene by scene so that you can be inspired and help me contact the right people to make this movie project happen. So sit back, grab your favorite snack and enjoy and be moved by a story that cuts to and through the core of human beings.

The Question Is —

The question is
When am I going to realize
That I am lying to them all
When I pour my heart out to each one
And tell them how much I love her, think of her night and day,
Can’t stand to spend another moment without her
And that my love is here to stay?
Or will I then realize that I truly do love each one of them with all my heart
And that it is possible to love more than one
And that does not diminish the love for each?
Because in my heart I truly to love each one, that she’s the only one being the only lie.

Sexy

I am a single man looking for a very sexy lady in Northern New Jersey or New York City. I am tired of being forced to live my entire life in a monastery and I don’t want an asexual relationship with someone far, far away. Put your body where you’re love is.
