Ticking Time Gun

‚ÄčAll of us are under some kind of gun just few of us know it. We all slink and slumber into that imaginary hog we mistakenly believe we are high on but in reality there is neither hog nor height for us, just a ticking time gun and we are all under it.

The Day After

I became reassured by the same boring day after day job. The ground was still under my feet and there were no flames burning up the world. No strong men were carrying me off to a concentration camp. And even though it is completely unreasonable to think that the most unthinkable and unspeakable horror—that already experienced by several Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors known as hibakusha—could not possibly happen—certainly not before January 20, 2017, and, at that, probably nothing unimaginably horrendously frightening until September, say around September 11, as the imagination is wont to take flight—the familiar chains and whips I had known for so long already were very reassuring after the eery air of surreality I had just undergone last night at midnight and some of which I still woke up with trying to fit into my perception (and see in it a positive view) a very unwanted and even more unexpected reality than that which things seemed to be moving to.

The media and the internet are filled with nothing but this election, most of it negative and very discouraging making everybody want to crawl deep into a hole. But if you get out of your fucking smart phone which isn’t so smart in reality and into real life with 3 dimensional, multidimensional people, it is as if there is no election taking place. Gone completely is the intense civic and social engagement of the early days of this great nation, the long hours of group discussions at town hall meetings, when people felt the burden of government rested on nobody but their own shoulders, collectively. It was a time far ahead of the time we live in now, when people both knew the superiority of coming together as unique and free individuals, unafraid to engage each other as well as felt the urgency of making sure that we all fight with our lives to protect this unique self-government we had.

Over the years, we admitted many more people from other lands to include in our experiment in self-governance that it might seem it is not ours anymore. But that is not the reason, our democracy died in spirit. The reason is our democracy is the precise reason we were able to advance our productive abilities and as a result our standard of living. Now, we have unwittingly enslaved ourselves to material and technological things that have no heart, no brain outside of what we program them with, which is not theirs, and no abilities in dialogue and discourse. We have let the machine enslave us and now we feel so far from the seat of the government our founders fought for us to have. We have come to wonder how 2 candidates we don’t even like (to be continued out of time now)

The media, not the election, is to blame. Democracy is great and precious and I will fight for her all the way!! Who’s with me?

‚ÄčI don’t hate this election at all. Democracy is on the line battling tyranny, freedom is duking it out with enslavement, love trying to trump hate, equality and togetherness standing strong and proud to squash divisiveness and isolation. This is the proud legacy of this country from Day 1, July 4, 1776, and I’ll be damned if our internal enemies are going brainwash our good American people into hating the precious institution of our precious democracy. And yes it is the nature of democracy to border on perilous. Freedom and tolerance are not for the faint hearted of weak of spirit. They require constant and wise vigilance.

NO IT IS NOT THE ELECTION THAT SICKENS ME. IT IS THE MEDIA, THAT VITAL INSTITUTION THAT RONALD REAGAN HANDED OVER TO THE RICH 1% THAT I SO DETEST AS A TOOL OF TYRANNY AND EVERYTHING OUR FOUNDERS FOUGHT AGAINST! I am sick of “milennials” of “college educated white people” (what an unexamined diverse group they lump me in with), of “suburban women”…… They know nothing of the pulse of the real American spirit and if all they come up with of comfort for us is that we’re all sick of democracy……..

Well, then it’s time for them for them to chuck their fucking focus groups and get unfocused for the next two days. Leave us alone and let us find out for ourselves that Hillary has more experience dialoging with world leaders, fighting for change based on what has been shown to work for real ordinary people, for everyone, not just some few who benefit from stealing our money through tax cuts for them, and working in the only place you have any hope creating the best and most results for the most people—within a system that has been extremely corrupt and working within which its impossible not to get dirt all over you—and retire for good the great child rapist dictator.
